Wind
With over 17 GW in Brazil, in more than 650 wind farms, wind energy is today the second largest in the country, as well as O2®'s leading market. We have expertise with the main turbine manufacturers, and we are attentive to the offshore wind scenario in Brazil. We monitor closely the competent agencies' decisions, seeking inovation and pionerism to our clients. Therefore, we seek being referente not only in on-shore wind services, but also off-shore.
Solar
Accordingly to ABSOLAR (Brazilian Solar Energy Association), solar energy has grown more than 70 times since 2016 in the country, being 4 GWp from distributed energy generation and 3 GWp from centralized energy generation. Anticipating an even bigger development in solar energy in Brazil, O2® is your partner for services in mini-generation (and bigger) solar power plants. We are ready to serve all demands in this sector, seeking to make it even more competitive by increasing the system's reliability and energy generation.
Biomass
Brazil has a stong bond with agrobusiness. Therefore, biomass energy presents optimal results and competitive advantages over the usage of fossil fuel in power plants. High energy density, ease of storage and transport, zero carbon balance and low cost are some of them. Thus, for optimal usage of inputs and aiming at the optimal performance of power plants, O2® offers solutions for biomass plants, optimizing the generation of clean energy in the country.
Biogas
Integrated with the agricultural production chain, through the use of organic matter waste, the generation of energy from biogas allows the best use of residues and waste. In addition, the process generates a liquid subproduct with high fertilization power, linking the production cycle in which biogas is inserted.
The generation of energy from biogas can also occur from the degradation of solid urban waste, being an environment friendly solution for cities.

Small Hydroelectric Plants (PCHs)
Water sources represent a significant portion of Brazil's energy generation. In particular, small hydroelectric plants (PCHs) complement the generation of large hydroelectric power plants during periods of flooding, in run-of-river operation. Despite the low cost of O&M in comparion to power generation, PCHs need frequent attention in relation to maintenance and technical inspections. Hydrogen
The main challange of renewable energies is its storage. In the past, the usage of hydrogen cells, with lesser energy waste and higher capacity than lithium, was discussed.
